Our Services

Four therapies. One clinic. One plan.

Most clinics offer one way of treating you. We combine four, chosen and sequenced around what your body actually needs, all delivered in individual private rooms.

The Holistic Difference

East meets West, properly

Plenty of clinics add a token extra service. Here, Western physiotherapy and Chinese medicine are practised by the same clinician, at qualification level, in the same treatment plan.

  • Whole-person diagnosis

Body, mind and emotions assessed together. Symptoms treated and the underlying cause addressed.

  • Accredited in both worlds

Professionally qualified in physiotherapy, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, not a weekend course.

  • Hands-on, one-to-one

Every appointment is with your practitioner in an individual private room, never handed off to a machine or a gym floor.

  • Tailored, not templated

Treatment is matched to your condition: the right therapy, or combination, at the right stage of recovery.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I claim health fund rebates?

Yes. We have HICAPS, so private health fund claims are processed on the spot and you only pay the gap. Rebates can be claimed for physiotherapy, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine consultations, depending on your level of cover. We also accept Medicare Care Plans (Chronic Disease Management, via your GP) and DVA.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed for private appointments. Just book or call. A GP referral is required for Medicare Care Plans and DVA, and claim details are needed for WorkCover and CTP patients.

Do acupuncture needles hurt?

Acupuncture needles are far finer than injection needles. Most people feel little more than a brief tingle, and many find treatment deeply relaxing. Dr Sandra practises seven styles of acupuncture, including very gentle Japanese techniques, so treatment is always matched to your comfort.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing you can move in. All treatment happens in individual private rooms, and towels and draping are provided, so you'll always be comfortable regardless of the area being treated.

Is there parking at the clinic?

Yes, free on-site parking, with the carpark entry from Brook St and ground-level clinic entry directly from the carpark. There's also street parking on Brook St. By public transport, bus 196 stops right outside (stop 8, Gladstone Rd) and South Bank train station is a five-minute walk.

Do you treat WorkCover, CTP or NDIS patients?

Yes. We regularly treat WorkCover Queensland patients, CTP (motor vehicle third-party) claims and NDIS participants who are plan-managed or case-managed. Bring your claim or plan details to your first visit and we'll handle the paperwork.

Which therapy is right for me?

Often it's a combination, and you don't need to decide before you arrive. Your first consultation works that out. For a preview, try the condition finder above, or call us on (07) 3844 8202 and ask.
